Solana Beach Recovery Retreat gives our patients, and particularly those coming from out of town, a serene atmosphere to stay in throughout their recovery time, should they desire to do so.

Located one block away from the beach, and a 15-minute drive from our surgical suites, Carmel Valley Facial Plastic Surgery Center’s private Solana Beach Recovery Retreat is situated in an upscale neighborhood that is both safe and quiet.

In addition to our complimentary suite of services, Solana Beach Recovery Retreat suggests that patients consider using the following additional services as needed.

While these providers have been vetted, they do handle their own bookings and schedule. The teams suggested are well-versed in the postoperative recovery needs of our patients and they tend to book quickly. We encourage you to reach out to them directly shortly after your surgery with Dr. Karam has been scheduled.

Post-Care Nurses

As a standard safety practice, we require that someone over the age of 18 accompany all patients for the first 24 hours after their surgery. In the event that you are not traveling with another adult or you don’t have someone who can bring you to and from our surgical center after your procedure, an experienced post-care nursing team is available.

The post-care nursing teams we use are 24-hour services that provide the following:
Patient pick up from recovery and trip to Solana Beach Recovery Retreat
Return to morning post-op followup
Charting all medications and activities
Changing dressings
Assisting with meals and fluids
Interfacing with family

Dedicated Driver Available for Transport

Patients needing only safe and reliable transportation to and from our office or other areas of town can book a dedicated personal driver. Familiarity with our patient’s needs makes these drivers a far superior choice when compared to booking individual trips with rideshare providers such as Uber or Lyft, which we don’t recommend during recovery.
