How is Radiesse Formulated to Achieve its Stunning Results?

Radiesse relies on the power of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) molecules that are suspended in a gel-like substance. They work to hydrate the skin, while simultaneously helping to boost the body’s production of collagen.

What is the Procedure like?

Dr. Karam or a member of the team will meet with you beforehand to go over all the details of your treatment and answer any outstanding questions. They will discuss topics such as costs and financing; recovery; risks; and of course your final results. For optimal results, 2-4 treatments are required.

On the day of the procedure, the provider will create a grid with a surgical pen beneath your chin, detailing the exact strategic points to be targeted. He will then use an ultra fine needle to make anywhere from 14-55 injections. This will take approximately 20 minutes to complete, so you can be in and out of our San Diego offices during your lunch break!
