About Dr. Karam

Dr. Karam chose his path in medicine as a young boy after witnessing his mother’s remarkable transformation after heart surgery. He instantly knew that he wanted to uplift, heal and improve the lives of others and dedicated himself to the long haul of painstakingly perfecting his craft. He chose to pursue facial plastic surgery because he had a unique talent for the demands of surgical precision, while at the same, he possessed the creativity and artistry that is required to bring about delicate, nuanced changes.

Following through on his childhood dream, Dr. Karam spent 11 years doing clinical and scientific research in the field of facial plastic surgery at UC Irvine School of Medicine, publishing over 20 scientific articles and presenting over 40 presentations of his findings. For his intrepid skill and fortitude, Dr. Karam was awarded the Gordon J. Hatfield Award for best overall performance.
