At Carmel Valley Facial Plastic Surgery, our priority is the comfort, privacy and safety of our patients. Our offices, which are conveniently located off the 5 and 56 freeways, are located in Ryan Plaza in picturesque Carmel Valley, San Diego. The brand new state–of–the–art medical office and surgical center are just miles from the coast between La Jolla and Del Mar. Our office also offers free parking for your convenience.

Designed by one of San Diego’s top architectural firms, our beautiful facility was created with lots of natural light to offer a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

Once inside our office, a friendly, experienced staff of professionals will greet you. From the moment you walk in you will feel the positive energy that comes from a staff that genuinely has a passion for what they do and have fun doing it in a pristine medical office! Refreshments, water, and coffee are available for you while you relax in our comfortable reception area. Sip your coffee at ease while you finish up your paperwork. You’ll then be greeted by one of our friendly team members to prepare you for your visit. If this is your first visit, one of our Patient Care Coordinators will then greet you and take you back to an exam room to review pertinent medical history and briefly summarize the topics to discuss during your consultation with San Diego’s premier facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Karam.

After the patient coordinator steps out, Dr. Karam will arrive to begin the cosmetic consultation. This will include a thorough discussion of your goals, desires, and expectations, as well as a focused physical exam. For prospective patients interested in rhinoplasty, Dr. Karam will perform Digital Imaging to illustrate the potential results following your aesthetic procedure and go over before and after photographs. Following this consultation, you will meet again with our Patient Care Coordinator to summarize and schedule your procedure.

Patients undergoing lasers, chemical peels, and non–surgical facial rejuvenation procedures (Botox and Fillers) will be seen in one of our four treatment rooms. The highest level of sterility, topical anesthesia, and care is provided to make your procedures as comfortable and safe as possible. Skin care consultants are always available to help educate and guide patients on the best scientifically–proven skin care products.

Surgical procedures are conveniently performed under one roof, at Carmel Valley Surgical Center, which hosts two state–of–the–art surgical suites and a recovery center. The rooms are equipped with only the best equipment and instruments. Our facility in San Diego is able to accommodate patients wishing to perform procedures under local anesthesia with oral and IV sedation, as well as general anesthesia. The center has a separate entrance and exit from the main office, which allows our patients to undergo procedures in privacy.

Carmel Valley Surgical Center is certified by Quad A, the gold standard of accreditation, which offers the highest level of safety and state regulations for outpatient surgery. Anesthetic safety is paramount and for San Diego patients opting for general anesthesia, Carmel Valley Surgical Center uses board-certified Anesthesiologists.
